January Meeting- The Night Circus

We met last night to discuss the last pick, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

This was an intriguing book, and many of the girls liked it.  It wasn't an "easy" read necessarily so you had to stay engaged and pay close attention to the dates and characters (which I personally have a hard time doing sometimes!).  It started out slow but a little over halfway through things started picking up more and began to make a little more sense.  I think we'd all agree that we probably wouldn't give it the amazing reviews that most other readers gave it, but it did give us a good discussion at book club.
